Little Roots
A weekly gathering for homeschooling families
"Growing friendships, one Wednesday at a time"
More Than a Playdate
Little Roots is a small, committed group of 6 homeschooling children (ages 6-7) who meet weekly at Mawun Valley Farm to play, learn, and grow together.
No rotating faces. No drop-ins. Just the same kids, every week, building real friendships through sports, creativity, and shared adventures.

Farm & Nature
Feed animals, plant seeds, explore bugs, harvest vegetables — hands in the dirt

Football on our 12m x 17m grass court, relay races, obstacle courses, frisbee, parachute games, tag — plus board games and building challenges when it rains.

Questions?
What if my child is 5 or 8?
This group is specifically for ages 6-7 to ensure similar developmental stages. We may open other age groups in the future.
What if we need to miss a week?
Life happens. We ask that you miss no more than 2 sessions per term, excluding illness. Consistency is key for friendships.
What do parents do during the 3 hours?
You're welcome to relax at Noni's Café, work on your laptop, or simply enjoy the farm. Just stay on the property.
Is this a school?
No. This is a social gathering for homeschoolers — focused on play, creativity, and friendship, not curriculum.
